This challenge is about a DNA test I asked to be conducted on my daughter.
I am a father of four, two boys and two girls. I have them boy, girl, boy, girl. I am a civil servant and my wife, a medical doctor. To God be the glory, I don’t have any challenge with all of them except my first daughter, 14 years old in JSS3, in a boarding house.
Everybody say I dominate my wife because all my children are my splitting resemblance. They all look like me, my face, colour.
MY CHILDREN
All my children are fast, sharp-witted, intelligent, brilliant except this daughter. In her class of 40, she would be 35 in position, 38, 34. The best she has ever been is 25! Often, I do not care about the position, I check the grades. P, P, C, C.
Like her siblings, her mother and I give all of them the best. We don’t joke about their needs. Their mum does not take nonsense from them. I am the most lenient.
I don’t beat children. Their mother slaps, use the cane, belt, etc., when she is angry with them. She doesn’t spare the rod.
THIS DAUGHTER
You only hear her when you watch Yoruba African magic or Zee world. She can watch film ooo! Tell her to pick her books and study, wahala! Housework, wahala! She can also cook!

Not too long ago, news broke that a nurse in a country confessed to having been changing newborn babies in the hospital she worked.
I called my wife that I hope they didn’t change this daughter in the hospital because I don’t know where this girl is from.
I also asked her, jokingly, that I hope the baby belongs to me or can we do a DNA test? I told her I don’t trust Nigerian women o.
MY FRUSTRATION
My wife got angry. We have been on this for a week now, and my house is hot now. I don’t think I am wrong to have asked for a DNA test because I am just frustrated.
Where is this girl from when my other children are the complete opposite of her? That she resembles me does not matter to me again. Children always resemble the man who sleeps and tops the pregnancy.
What can I do about this girl?
She makes me cry. How can I boost her intelligence? Please as a pastor and elder, help me.
