Please, let everyone learn from my mistakes.

The devil has come to do three things: to steal, to kill and to destroy but Jesus came to do just ONE thing: to give life.

In his guise to get followers that would accompany him to hell, the devil is doing everything possible, including polluting the Church, it’s organs and programs to confuse, destroy, kill and steal from the unsuspecting and easily fooled Christians.

I had thought I am one of the smartest or most experienced Christians on the internet. I came into the internet business as early as year 2000 when computer and Internet were very young in Nigeria and so many people know nothing about it.

That time, there was no smartphone. Laptop was a rarity. The best around was the desktop. I trained as a webmaster in 1999/2000 after I left active print media journalism. I must have designed over 200 websites right from the days of HTML to WordPress. I have attended several trainings on Cyber security. It made me boast that no man born of a woman can hack my phone or Whatsapp because I know every details of it.

Yesterday, Thursday December 1, 2022, I fell so cheaply. Oju nti mi! But for my knowledge of the internet, I would have lost so many things to these evil people. But here I am now, standing tall. I beat them to it. Under 30 minutes, I recorvered my phone number, my WhatsApp account and all the groups I belong in.

The lesson in this encounter is that let he that thinks he stands take heed lest he fall. I never knew this could happen to me. I was just thinking of organising a seminar on Internet Evangelism. I have been discussing this with my staff and they said I’ve been in this business for over 22 years. As one of the pioneers of Internet Evangelism in Africa, I should make my knowledge and experience available to others, especially the Church.

They told me to make people pay for entrance. But I am not that kind of money, money, money person. I feel I should impart knowledge freely to the Church. It’s payback time for me. That was the discussion when this matter happened. Can you imagine a man planning to teach Internet Evangelism and Online Security, himself falling yakata to Internet scams? I was almost defeated last night but for God.

As I said, I have since recovered my line and the WhatsApp account. I am back to work and back to planning the seminar. The experience is vitalising for me and has made me stronger. I have more items to teach. My experience is wider and revivified. Romans 8:8, all things work together for good for them that love God.

In the Part 2 of this post, I will go straight to what happened. Pls share this information so that many people will learn from the experience of an expert who thought he could never fall. Let he who thinks he stands take heed, lest he fall. 1 Corinthians 10:12.

Thank you.
