The body of Jesus of Nazareth that was deposited in a specially constructed grave Friday evening is no longer there. Could He have risen as He promised his disciples and people of Jerusalem?

According to our reporter, Bola Adewara who was at the tomb at exactly 6: am this Sunday, “efforts to trace the body of Jesus Christ was futile. None of the Romans soldiers who mounted sentry at the tomb to prevent His body from being stolen, could be found. The stone has been rolled aside and only the white satin with which his body was wrapped after crucifixion, could be found on the catafalque.

When this reporter got to the tomb, a man suspected to be an angel was found, smiling. He told our reporter that “Why are you looking for the living among the dead? He has risen. Go and meet with Him in Jerusalem as He promised you.”

The angel said five women had been to the tomb to search for Him. “Mary Magdalene, Joanna, Mary mother of James, Salome, and one more woman had been here as early as 5 am. When they did not see his body, they went away with only Mary Magdalene, waiting behind, crying.

The angel said, “Mary stood outside by the tomb weeping, and as she wept she stooped down and looked into the tomb. And she saw two of us angels in white, sitting, one at the head and the other at the feet, where the body of Jesus was. I said to her, “Woman, why are you weeping?”
She responded to me that “Because they have taken away my Lord, and I do not know where they have laid Him.”
Now when she had said this, she turned around and saw Jesus standing there, and did not know that it was Jesus.
Jesus said to her, “Woman, why are you weeping? Whom are you seeking?”
She, supposing Him to be the gardener, said to Him, “Sir, if You have carried Him away, tell me where You have laid Him, and I will take Him away.”
Jesus said to her, “Mary!”
She turned and said to Him,“Rabboni!” (which is to say, Teacher).
Jesus said to her, “Do not cling to Me, for I have not yet ascended to My Father; but go to My brethren and say to them, ‘I am ascending to My Father and your Father, and to My God and your God.’”
Mary Magdalene came and told the disciples that she had seen the Lord, and that He had spoken these things to her.

Speaking on how the resurrection took place, the angel confirmed to this reporter that “We left the Throne of Grace at about 3:am Earth’s time. Our arrival was heralded by an earthquake. We rolled away the stone at the gate of the tomb and woke Jesus from death. All the soldiers who mounted sentry at the tomb ran away to report to the priest what happened. Only Mary Magdalene waited The rest women rushed to inform His disciples at Bethany, where they were hidden since the arrest, trial and crucifixion of Jesus.

Speaking to this reporter, Mr. Matthew, one of the 12 disciples said the women “sounded very confused when they met us. On one hand, they reported that the angels said Jesus was alive from the dead. On the other hand, they exclaimed, “…They have taken away the Lord out of the sepulchre, and we know not where they have laid him”
Matthew added that Peter and John therefore went forth, with John outrunning Peter on the two miles journey to the tomb to see things for themselves and reported to us some hours ago.

Right now, the whole of Jerusalem is scattered as the news of Jesus’ resurrection is spreading like a wildfire. Speaking with the Jerusalem police, the DPO of Bethany Police station said they have deployed about 500 policemen to start searching the whole of Jerusalem for the body of Jesus, warning that anybody found with it would be summarily death with.

Meanwhile, the disciples are getting bolder now. They are shaking away their fears because Jesus now has with the power over death. The keys of life and death is now with Him.

Watch out for updates on the resurrection of Jesus.
