My first question is what does it signify when you keep seeing people like your friends, teachers, family members who are dead?
My second question is this: in my dream last night, I saw my primary school headmaster. I left primary school in 1972. I am about 50 years old now. While alive, The headmaster and his wife were our family friends. They were close to our dad and mum such that they took picture together. We attended the same church and did so many things together. In 1976, he resigned his job as headmaster to become a pastor, in fulfillment of his vow to God that if the Lord did some certain things for him before age 40, he would become a pastor to win souls for Christ. But in 1978, two years after he resigned, he and his first son, then in the University died in a motor accident. It was a great blow to our church and our family.
In my dream, my younger brother and i were in the market moving from one place to the other. Suddenly we saw the headmaster, well dressed in good lace material and he was looking chubby. Immediately we saw him, we recognised him but we knew he was dead and so we refused to talk to him. He saw us and recognised us but we did not give him face.
In the dream, he was moving ahead of us on the narrow road of the empty market. He was intermittently looking behind, expecting us to greet him. But we pretended not to know him. At a stage stood still on the narrow road, thus blocking our way. We asked him politely to let us pass, still acting as if we did not know him. He stepped aside and we passed by. Immediately we passed him, we moved fast away from him and then he called us… “Are these not the children of Mr. …..” he mentioned the name of our father. But we vanished from him and then i woke.
Immediately, at about 4am, I called my younger brother who is in South Africa. He was shocked. he said just two days ago, he also saw him but he too refused to talk to him. he said the man was looking finer than he was when alive. He said the man was well dressed. We concluded that the man must be in heaven. We also concluded that he could have a message for us but we both snubbed him. Now we are afraid. I am an engineer with an oil company in Warri. My younger brother is a lecturer in a university in South Africa. Our dad is dead. Mother alive.
Apostle, what has just happened to us? Were we wrong to have snubbed him? If we needed to have listen to him, how do we do that in dreams? Is it possible to control one’s actions in dream? Is this man truly in heaven? Please advise us. My younger brother in South Africa referred me to this website, so he too would read it.
