When observing those who have faced failures in life, if it were possible to rewind the hand of time, it is possible to see how they spent their seconds, minutes, hours, and days, gaining insight into the trajectory of their lives.

The moment you start squandering your minutes and days, you commence a wasteful journey for your destiny. Time is the measurement of destiny; the way you allocate your seconds, minutes, and hours is a foretaste of your future.

No one enters this world predestined for failure. Our destinies are shaped by how we invest our time. This understanding prompts individuals who are aware of their destined path to establish strict guidelines like deadlines and punctuality to govern their time.

The importance of punctuality and adhering to deadlines might not be universally recognised. Consequently, this discrepancy can result in unexpected delays or alterations, necessitating adaptability and patience. We should recognise that time is relational rather than merely task-oriented.

Time is our most coveted resource, yet the most unrespected. Have you not noticed that those who frequently claim they have no time are usually heading nowhere in life? They appear busy but achieve remarkably little.

By prioritising your tasks and establishing a clear scale of preference, 24 hours is very sufficient for a day. While time may never suffice for everything, it always allows for the completion of the most vital tasks.

The beauty of time is present. Nothing is better than now. Anyone who enjoys and properly utlise the present will never regret the past. Time is priceless because it cannot be bought or owned. Just to clarify, it’s true that money can be used to delegate tasks and free up your time, but you cannot buy someone else’s time to add on to yours to prolong your own lifespan.

You cannot see time flying before you but you can see it after it has gone. You can see it on your faces, in your CV, in your achievements, in how people relate with you, in the respect they have for you, in your ability to relate with your mates, in the society you belong and the respect your children have for you as they grow by. If you have wasted your time, you have wasted your life.

Time the measured or measurable period during which an action, process, or condition exists or continue. Ancient Philosopher, Theophrastus understood time as an accident of motion that could not be stopped or reversed. He said that wasting time was the most extravagant and costly of all expenses. Once you misused your time, it cannot be reversed. Sincere, you need the power of God to restore the time the locust have eaten.

If time is running out, you can’t add one more day, hours, minutes, or even seconds to it. You can only discipline yourself to make the best use of the now. Whether it’s your personal life, the life of your business, or even the life of a nation, there is only one resource we can’t get back; that resource is time.

Time is the denominator of life. You can be doing the right thing at the wrong time. You can be doing the wrong thing at the right time. You can be doing the right thing at the right time or the wrong thing at the wrong time. Time is the denominator.

A teenager who is seeking have a ride a car when he should be seeking to get his school certificate, time will prove him right or wrong. A 90 year old man who is praying for a car, what does he need it for? The right thing at the wrong time. There is nothing wrong in having a car. But there is a wrong timing for having it. Know the right time for the right things. Time is the denominator of life.

Fathers, if you have wasted time, teach your children how you failed by wasting time. Mothers, if you are not proud of where you are today, show your children how you got here. Yes, you have failed but it is worse if you raised failures. Your children must not fail. The tell tales of your sad past become worse if your children cannot learn from you. If you wasted your youthful era, don’t waste your old age. This is the time to give back!
