  1. IMPACT ON OTHERS:
Words have the power to influence and affect people emotionally, mentally, and even physically. What we say can have a lasting impact on others’ feelings, self-esteem, and overall well-being. Negative or hurtful words can be particularly damaging.
  2. EVERYTHING HAS EARS:
Whatever has the capability of being spoken to has the capability to hear. Spiritually, we are taught to believe that whatever we speak to with confidence in God, would respond. If the Bible says, speak to the mountains, mountains meaning your challenges, your pains, they would respond.
  3. BE CAREFUL WHAT YOU SAY BECAUSE ANGELS ARE LISTENING.
The idea here is that we being observed or judged by benevolent spirits like angels. Angels are messengers of God, believed to be able to observe and interact with the human world.
There are religious references that suggest they have a role in observing human activities.
  4. YOU BECOME WHAT YOU SAY.
You are a reflection of what you say. If you say you can do something, you can. If you say you cannot, you cannot. The voice you speak goes round your body. Every cell in your body hears what you say.
  5. WORD CARRY SPIRITUAL FORCE
Words are used to uplift, to motivate, to comfort people. Words have a meaning well beyond simple letters strung together.
They are powerful in how they make a person feel. The tongue has the power of life and death.” Words have so much influence they can cause a person’s life to change. One of the major ways to release power inside of us is by speaking.
  6. WE WILL GIVE AN ACCOUNT OF THE WORDS WE SPEAK
We shall be held accountable before the divine presence for every utterance that escapes our lips. The words we speak echo beyond the realm of mortal ears, reaching the sacred chambers where our actions and intentions are weighed.
Let us be mindful, for the tongue is a potent instrument capable of both creation and destruction. In the silent corridors of eternity, our spoken words resonate, and their echoes linger. These words will either justify us or condemn us.
  7. COMMUNICATION AND UNDERSTANDING:
Effective communication is essential for building relationships and understanding one another. Being mindful of our words helps convey our thoughts and feelings more clearly, reducing the likelihood of misunderstandings and conflicts.
  8. MAINTAINING RELATIONSHIPS:
Words can play a significant role in the dynamics of relationships. Hurtful or offensive language can strain relationships and lead to long-term damage. On the other hand, positive and respectful communication can strengthen bonds and foster trust.
  9. PROFESSIONAL AND SOCIAL CONSEQUENCES:
In various social and professional contexts, what we say can have serious consequences. In the workplace, inappropriate or offensive language can lead to disciplinary actions or damage professional reputations. Similarly, socially, insensitive remarks may affect one’s standing in a community.
  10. LEGAL AND ETHICAL CONSIDERATIONS: In some situations, careless words can have legal ramifications. Libel, slander, and hate speech are examples of speech that may have legal consequences. Furthermore, ethical considerations require us to be mindful of the potential harm our words might cause.
