MESSAGE TO THE IGNORANT CHURCH

Day in day out, I found joy in posting comments on various issues I am privileged to observe in Churches and amongst Christians. I crafted most of these posts in the middle of the night or early in the mornings. These thoughts hit me often like a thunderbolt from the blues, and sleep ceases. Many of the posts have gone viral on different social media platforms. So many of them I found are being shared without acknowledging my authorship. I have never bothered about this as long as readers understand the messages in them.

One day, Solomon Jegede, a friend, client, and Pastor called and advised me to put together all these posts and make a book of them. He said if I failed to do this, some thieves of intellectual properties could do so and claim authorship. He also said many of the posts need to be read by a wider audience who might not be on social media.

His counsel was followed quickly by the calls and suggestions of two other friends, Diji Isaac, then in Port Harcourt and Yinka Adeboye, then in Ibadan. They also spoke similarly, almost using the exact words. Three different people said the same thing almost within one month; it was like the Lord was speaking to me, and I took their counsels seriously. I hit the computer to start searching Facebook for all the posts I’ve made in the past. The result is what you have in your hand.

It was not easy to compile all I had written on Facebook. After about a week of consistent search, I gathered over 150 posts I have made on Christian matters. Out of these, I chose these 50 to make this book.

I urge you to read this book with an open mind knowing that my goal is to see a Church without wrinkles!
