The programme of events for the burial of Bishop Sola Ore, the late Chairman of the Lagos State Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria has been released.
The announcement was made by the state executives after a Thursday meeting at Agape Generation International Church, Maryland Lagos Nigeria, chaired by the Deputy Chairman, Apostle Eyinnaya Okwuonu.
PROGRAMME
In a press statement by Dr ‘Bola Adewara, coordinator of the Media and Publicity Committee, the burial programme will kick off with a Commendation Service that would be held in all provinces of PFN Lagos on the Friday 20th of November, 2020.
This would be followed by a Service of Songs on Thursday 26th of November, 2020 at Love Aglow Ministry, Festac Town, Lagos. Time: 3:00pm.
On Friday 27 November, there would be a burial service at The Apostolic Church LAWNA, Ketu Lagos, Lagos. Time: 10am.
This would be followed immediately by the internment, committal of the body to mother earth at a private cemetery in Lagos then the reception follows, drawing the programme of the event to a close.
Speaking at the meeting, the secretary of the Lagos PFN, Rev. Toyin Kehinde said it is a must for the Pentecostals in the state to give a befitting burial to the late bishop and leader of men.
He added that the passing on of any Christian should not be a source of sadness for anybody. “Our Bishop has only moved on to eternal rest with Jesus Christ.”

Kehinde also added that a Bishop Olusola Ore Support Fund has been launched. According to him, “Our brother and friend Bishop Sola Ore whom we all knew to be compassionate, loving, kind, jovial and ever-supportive has gone to be with the Lord.
As we prepare to lay his body to rest, we ask his friends to partner with us for the burial arrangements and support the widow and family he left behind. A dedicated account has therefore been opened for this, in conjunction with the family.

PRESENT AT THE MEETING
At the Thursday meeting, several committees were set up to put a befitting burial together.
The meeting was attended by scores of PFN functionaries including Apostle Enyinnaya Okwuonu, the Deputy Chairman PFN Lagos, Rev Toyin Kehinde, state secretary and Bishop Abraham Olaleye, a national officer of PFN.
Present also were Rev Dr Peace Goodey, the state treasurer; Apostle Mike Honour Akinyoade, director of media; Pastor Tonye Oliver, publicity secretary and Dr Bola Adewara, publisher of E-life magazine.
Others include Rev David Osayi, Director of Protocol; Rev Oladele Afolabi, Director of Project; Apostle Akinyele Akindejoye, deputy secretary; Rev. Juliet Binitie, deputy director of planning and strategy and Bishop Theophilus Ajose, director of inter-governmental relations.
Also, Pastor Bayo Oyeyemi, Deeper Life rep for PFN Lagos; Pastor Gift Peters, Director of Protocol for CAN Lagos; Apostle Patrick Utulu, chairman PFN Ojo province, Pastor Essien Emmanuel and Minister Abdul Abubakar both of Love Aglow Ministries, Festac Lagos and several other Church functionaries.
