Nichole-Samms_bone-digger-and-milo_1The hunter has brought the young lion home and as much as he could, he tamed it. The lion grew up as an omnivore like the dog. This particular dog keeps barking and harming this little lion which has been trained not to be wild.

One day this dog chased this lion into the bush. After few months, this lion was back and when this dog tried to terrorized it as usual, this lion made a meal of it.

What happened you might want to know? When the lion went into the bush, it saw what other lions do and because it has their nature it was able to do likewise.

When we read about the men of faith in the Scripture that we share same nature in Christ with, what they did with their lives of faith, we’ll begin to know what we too can because we share same measure and nature of faith with them (Romans 12:3).

People like Sarah that gave birth at old age,
Sampson that had supper strength, the Jews that were never barren or had complications during childbearing,
Moses that parted the sea,
Gideon that defeated the enemies with a handful of armies,
Joshua that stopped the time by commanding the sun to stand still,
Enoch that wouldn’t die,
Noah that knew the future 100 years before time,
Peter that walked on water,
Paul that raised the dead etc.

These are examples of what we can do because of the nature we have in Christ. When we read the stories of any man in the scriptures that did the miraculous, its a story of what we too can do. When the tamed lion saw what the wild lions were doing with the same nature they shared with it the lion became able also. When we read about what our heroes of faith accomplished with their faith, its a inspiration to what we too can do with our faith, after all its same measure of faith that they have that we too have received.

Don’t let the devil tame you into who you are not (failure, barren, oppressed, a limited fellow etc.) Read about who you are by reading of men you shared the same nature and measure of faith with and get wild.
