Scream it! TWO PASTORS EMERGE AS GOVERNORS-ELECT.
In what should be a piece of cheering news to the Church of God, two pastors have emerged as governors-elect of two states in Nigeria. They are Pastor Umo Eno in Akwa Ibo State and Reverend Father Hyacinth Alia in Benue State.

PROFILES:
Pastor Umo Bassey Eno, born 10 May 1964, is the immediate past commissioner for lands and water resources in Akwa Ibom State and the founder of All Nations Christian Ministry International.

Hyacinth Alia, a Catholic reverend father, is a household name in Benue. Famous for healing the sick and exorcising demons with a sprinkle of holy water, Alia’s name fast became a point of reference for testimonies.

THEY WILL BREAK RECORDS
Let the Church celebrate and officially present them to Jesus for strength, truth and humanity. Let us invite the Holy Spirit, the Spirit of Truth, our Teacher and Light, to guide them always. These will not end up in prison after their terms.

Lateef Kayode Jakande, aka LKJ, was seen as Nigeria’s best governor between 1979 and 1983. When Alhaji Bamanga Tukur became the governor of Gongola State after defeating Abubakar Barde of GNPP, he said he aimed to beat the record of LKJ.

He could not, and to date, no one has. These pastors will break the record by the power of the oil of grace upon them.

DYNAMICS OF MENTORING MASTERCLASS

When Esther entered the fray, she asked her people to fast and pray for her. Esther went and succeeded. Nigerian Christians are not ready to pray for their politicians. All they know is to criticise, demonise and condemn.

We haven’t gotten the political cum spiritual education to know that being in government is like battling with the devil.

PREACHERS VS POLITICIANS: PRESERVING THE ALTAR FROM CORRUPTION

Yet, the government is upon our shoulders (Isaiah 9:6), and out of Zion shall go forth the law (Isaiah 2:3).

THE GOLDEN ERA SHALL RETURN
When I was young in First Baptist Church, Kaduna, many companies would advertise their vacancies in Churches. Some would send messages to pastors and churches to send them men who would work in their offices. Those were the golden era of the Church. But we lost it!

I declare that the lost golden era of the Church is coming back. The Church of God will be sending forth her best to government houses to show what righteous governance is.

We surround them with walls of fire that will scorch all corrupting influences around them. We send them forth to break down the fortresses of evil in their government houses and permanently install the power of the Righteous One in their states.

In Jesus name, we pray.
