WOMEN AND TROUSERS: A CANDID INTERPRETATION OF DEUTERONOMY 22: 5

“…woman shall not wear that which partaineth unto a man, neither shall a man put on a woman’s garment…”

We are the light,we must reflect God’s glory at all times. God’s glory is an aura of God that is winsome, and not just a physical light.

THERE IS AN AURA IN COMPORTMENT NECESSARY FOR THE WORSHIP OF GOD.

There is a way you can dress to an interview and the panel interviewing you will outrightly reject you or accept it. It was an aura necessary or unnecessary for that interview he sees first as part of rating for employment. God has a way too.

There are various wears for various places and jobs. Ranging from casual to official to military. We do not blame inventions for these development. Invention and development of new jobs over time gives rise to changes in comportment and dresses. Fashion was an invention of Adam not Satan. Adam first covered himself with leaves of fig tree sewed together. Though it was God that first covered Adam and Eve with coats of skins and clothed them. Since then, God by Himself laid down a principle of covering by having mercy on Adam, as an indication that only leaves can never sustain their exit from Eden.

As time goes on and on, and as population increases, new ways of covering developed. Wool from plants were discovered, this knowledge is still from God, so we must not appropriate it to Satan.

Later,perversion entered,and the perversion was through idolatry and not clothes. Those who worship idols in those other countries started a way of worship whereby they go naked before their gods. Those who do not go naked propounded a theory of same sexes before their god. So every worshiper can wear garments of opposite sex. They said they are the same in sex before their god. Women at that time began then to wear war garments of men,and men wore garments women wear. So the mix up began. It was in the midst of these that God gave this particular instruction in Deuteronomy 22:5.

God in His infinite knowledge knew inventions would not cease. So He generalized the law by mentioning “…woman shall not wear that which partaineth unto a man, neither shall a man put on a woman’s garment…” This generalization included all forms of wear and not only limited to clothes.

God’s intention here was to ensure His own people, Isreal,were not corrupted by ways other idolatrous nations dress or advocated one sex,same sex policies as against the plan of God. Same sex advocate was what gave rise to homosexuality even as at then.And idols or satanism caused this. It was this perversion God was building His own people against by giving then those laws.

And later,trouser was invented. This is a great comfort to humanity. Even to males.As many tasking work of civil engineering and security works or even farming could now be done in a more comfortable way.Women those days were not much part of working class. So trouser was first invented for men. As women gets recruited for military and engineering jobs,it was necessary for them to wear trousers too.So they can be comfortable and avoid exposure of sensitive parts.

Feminism started arising, and some females began to advocate for females righ. Same sex theory began afresh just like in days of ancient. Satanism crept back into fashion, and liberalism took over due to that,and business of clothes must boom. Women started wearing trousers en mass.

I do not say this is wrong,and I do not say it is not wrong. But I will like us to see subtle development of satanism through feminism there. Despite that the idea of female trousers was good and looked necessary,yet unnecessary brainwashing crept in all in the name of fashion and business.

If a Christian is not well tutored,he will probably find himself too in this same trend of generational brainwashing by feminists unknowingly and ignorantly.

A trouser for men,women cannot wear,a trouser for women,men cannot wear.That’s a direct contemporary interpretation for that verse of the scripture if we must actually do justice with our limited brain. And if we actually wanted to streamline the general word of “that which pertains to women or the word ” garment “.

In this line of thought,we can then justify that God is never against trousers by women if it doesn’t pervert divine purpose of decency, modesty,and purity. Obedience here is another ultimate rule which can simply be ignorantly disobeyed because we see it as an ancient law. Whereas ,God’s law is never outdated, but grace-dated. Grace of God will thus let us know how to apply a law graciously without legalistic tendencies or forcing ourselves.Thus reflecting God’s glory in what we wear and all we wear.The glory Jesus came to restore.
