As the Christmas season approaches, a coalition of global charities has come together to counter the typical year-end spending frenzy by designating November 2024 as “Generosity Month.” The initiative aims to inspire Christians worldwide to embrace the joy of generous living and share their stories of kindness with others.

Led by Generosity Path, Maclellan Foundation, TrustBridge Global, and other partners, the campaign seeks to turn November into a launching pad for a year-round movement. Using the power of social media, the initiative encourages individuals to raise awareness by sharing, liking, and commenting on stories of generosity.

Participants who sign up at the official website, https://generosity-month.com/, will receive daily devotionals on generosity and social media content to inspire others.

Steve Wood, Global Product and Marketing Director at Generosity Path, noted that while Christians are already known for their charitable spirit, the potential for further impact is vast. “By uniting these influential global charities for Generosity Month, we hope to inspire millions to live generously and share the joy that comes with it.”

Bob Collins, Global Managing Director at TrustBridge Global, added that generosity can take many forms, from small acts of kindness like helping neighbors to larger commitments like volunteering or donating to those in need. “What makes Generosity Month unique is how it connects a global generosity network, encouraging people to give in diverse ways,” he said.

The campaign officially kicks off with the launch of an Instagram channel, @GenerosityMonth, where Christian organizations and influencers will share inspiring content throughout November.
