A Nigerian clergy, Pastor Ladi Thompson, has said that the saga of fake Bishops trending in Nigeria is a mere demonic distraction calculated to divert the attention of the Church from the weightier matters, adding that, by now, the Christian community should know that the nation is at war.
If we claim that the Holy Spirit shows us things to come – we should be interceding for the crafty politicians who are being taken in their craftiness.
Speaking to E-life, Ladi Thompson, a special adviser to the CAN President, said, ‘the terrorist organisation called ISWAP is just laughing because some of the politicians have signed their death warrants by choosing to run with known terrorists’ sympathizers.

‘What is more important right now is that blood is being shed all over the country while Goliath is roaring in the battlefield. Standing over nine feet tall in full bronze battle gear, Goliath of Gath terrorized the nation of Israel and mocked them openly.
‘Whether they are hiding under the name of the Boko Haram, ISWAP or the Fulani militia, we know that they are all from the same demonic source.
‘They have made themselves giants, but these people are nothing but rapists, paedophiles, child molesters, kidnappers, brigands, corrupt politicians, ambitious geriatrics, supremacists and extremists hiding under a religious disguise!
‘The question that concerns us now, Thompson adds, ‘is “What will the next president give as a reward to the person who kills Goliath? Let nobody doubt the fact that Goliath is going to be slain even though King Saul is behaving like a chicken while Goliath is terrorizing both Christians and Moslems in Nigeria.
“The bigger problem right now is that none of the leading contenders. Neither Atiku, Tinubu, nor Obi has come up with any security strategy that is remotely adequate to slay Goliath, and they are even pretending that they cannot see the giant.
Thompson begs the Christian community to put on the armour of God and wait for marching orders from the Christian Association of Nigeria because Nigeria is facing an existential threat, and nobody is safe because it’s a new war form. He adds that Satan is very strategic, and the church must not allow itself to be diverted or distracted.
‘We are not unaware of his crafty devices, so the more we fixate on fake bishops and such lesser matters, the more the kingdom of darkness is positioning its merciless troops to continue its agenda.
He wants Christians to hold on to the weightier matters because they have the Holy Spirit. For himself, Thompson says he just wants to know what the next president is prepared to give the person that will slay Goliath before Goliath finishes us off.
