On getting home after Sunday service, Christians should ponder what to do next. This post is not a must for all Christians, depending on countries, urbanism, work schedules, attitudes to Church, and faith matters.AFTER SUNDAY SERVICE, WHAT NEXT?

But for the normal Christians who go straight home after Service and agree that the Sabbath day (Sunday) is a day totally devoted to God, the post applies. I would appreciate your response. So, what should you do after Church Service?

.
1 Reflections on the Sermon:
After the service, take time to ponder the message delivered by the preacher. Like the Berean Christians in the Bible, engage in thoughtful consideration and learn valuable lessons from the Word of God.

2 Engage with your Children:
Speak with your children about what they learned in their respective classes (children’s or teenage classes). Ensure they grasp the teachings and understand that attending church was not in vain. Encourage their spiritual growth.

3. Caring for Absentees:
Be attentive to those who didn’t attend the service. Inquire about their well-being and offer support. Remember that pastors alone cannot carry the entire burden of pastoral care; lend a helping hand.

4. Follow up with visitation if the absentee lives nearby
Please remember that some baby Christians could backslide if no one checks on them. Their feelings are that no one cares in that Church. As baby Christians, show love to them. Pray with them and promise to inform the pastorate. If they are sick, lay hands on them and pray. Don’t ever say you are not the pastor, so you can’t cast out the spirit of infirmity. You are not the doer of the job. Yours is to speak in the name of Jesus and Jesus, will back you up. Lay hands. Speak. Encourage!

5 Listen to Sermons Beyond Your Church:
Explore sermons from other pastors to gain diverse perspectives and hear the current speakings of God. However, exercise discernment when selecting which churches’ sermons to listen to.

6. Relax and Reflect:
Take time to unwind and relax. Reflect on how you desire God’s intervention in your life during the upcoming week. Seek His guidance and peace.

7. Family Reflections and Communion:
Sit down with your children. Discuss their lives, making them acknowledge any mistakes from the past week, and encourage improvement. By 6 PM, prepare to anoint them and partake in Communion—a sacred practice that symbolizes your union with Christ and fellow believers.

AFTER SUNDAY SERVICE, WHAT NEXT?

8. Sunday is 24 hours.
Not just the Sunday Service hours. God rested the full day. Rest in the Lord. Serve the Lord today Sunday. Don’t be in a hurry to leave the presence of God. Worship the Lord today. Stay at home and watch good Christians movies. Listen to good church music. Make offerings to the less privileged. Giving is part of worship. May the Lord give you the required understanding.

9. Disagreement with your spouse could nullify your service
If you and your spouse are in any form of disagreement, malice or bitterness, be informed that it has the power to nullify your service, worship, givings, and all you went to do in Church today. You should have settled before going to church so as to make your service perfect.

But God is ready to forgive you both and accept your service if you will ammend your ways NOW. Call your spouse, talk it over, and go inside and nak. I insist that every settlement of bickerings should be consummated with naking. Without it, the equation never balance.

10. May the Lord touch you right now to do the right thing always.

Happy Sunday evening.
