Apostle Tony Nwasolu, the new Chairman of the Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria (PFN) for the Ikosi Chapter, has expressed his deep gratitude to God for the opportunity to serve in this capacity just as he announces his 17-point-agenda and leadership team.

Speaking at a PFN meeting held in Ikosi recently, Nwasolu described his appointment as an extension of his dedication to God and pledged to build on the foundation laid by his predecessor, Rev. Idehen.

“Rev Idehen, he said, ‘has elevated this fellowship, and by God’s grace, my team and I will continue to take it higher. With this commitment in mind, I am unveiling a 17-point agenda crafted to the glory of God.”

Highlights of the 17-Point Agenda

Among the key objectives in Nwasolu’s plan are:

  • Re-engaging former members and encouraging new ones to join the chapter.
  • Holding quarterly evangelism initiatives aimed at winning souls for Christ.
  • Organizing symposia, seminars, and special programs to motivate and strengthen the fellowship.
  • Choosing optimal meeting schedules to increase member attendance.
  • Reinforcing the women’s department by encouraging male members to support their wives or female representatives in attending women’s wing gatherings.
  • Conducting joint meetings once every three months.
  • Appointing a welfare director to create a strong welfare package for Ikosi PFN members, along with defined guidelines for welfare benefits.

Nwasolu also announced plans for medical outreach programs in collaboration with the Ikosi-Isheri LCDA Secretariat, prompt payment of dues to retain the chapter’s esteemed standing within the Province, and developing formal attendance protocols for fellowship events.

Additionally, monthly welfare contributions will be raised, with a dedicated welfare fund set aside for members in need, and churches that do not participate for more than three consecutive meetings will be derecognized.
